The past couple of weeks, members of staff at SHC have been encouraging our older students to register to vote in the upcoming General Election through their lunch time registration station.
This has all been in a bid to make students more politically aware, and to encourage them to take an interest in politics as today's future adults.
Both students and staff feel as though it is important for young people to have their say, and to connect with politics early on in this democratic society.
Don't worry if you haven't registered yet, there's still time!
You can register to vote up until the 22nd May and can find the registration station outside D301 on Friday (19/05) and Monday (22/05) at lunch time.
