Level 3 Extended Diploma Media Production

This course is ideal for students wishing to focus their studies on media. This pathway, in particular, is designed to appeal to students who wish to enter employment in the industry and, as the course offers study across a wide range of media, including, print, photography, film, radio and journalism.

Students will also have potential to apply for a broad range of study at HE. It is an exciting course of study that combines development of practical skills, which are embedded through theoretical analysis and culminating in the completing of an individual portfolio.

Course Content

Topics Covered

The course comprises 18 different units which will all be completed over two years. Students do not study each unit in isolation, instead they undertake specific assignments designed to cover several units; these assignments include:

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs grade 9-4. including Maths and English.
