The Sport and Public Services department here at Shooters Hill Sixth Form College would like to invite all those that applied for Public Services in for a taster day for their chosen Public Services course on Thursday 27^th April 2017. The taster day will run from 4:00 – 6:00 pm.

No form of kit is required, but it is advised that comfortable clothing (e.g. tracksuit) and trainers are worn, as there will be exciting activities taking place. 

During the taster event, the following activities will be taking place:

• Team and leadership activities
• Activities that test your self-discipline and self-control
• Helping to solve a problem or dilemma
• Kim’s Game – Helps to promote the development of memory and observation skills, and develops your capacity to observe and remember details

There will also be an opportunity to ask current students about their choice of course, and their experiences within that course. Alongside this, students will also get an insight into the course and the trips and visits that may take place during the year. Information on organisations that we will work with will also be provided.
