Parents Forum

The Shooters Hill Parents’ Forum was established last year and set up to:

  • strengthen the links between the college and parents
  • give parents an additional channel to ask questions and share concerns
  • give the college the oppourtunity to share information on the latest news and initiatives and to canvas the views of the wider parent community.
  • hold social events for parents and students, generating additional funds that can be spent on “nice to have” extras for the students to enjoy.

Parents’ Forum meetings and events are held on a regular basis and will be advertised on the school calendar.

In our first year, we ran two “Town Hall” events, where parents were given guided tours of the campus and a demonstration of the latest technology being used in the classroom.
Parents also gave their views on how to address non-attendance, their thoughts on parent evenings and the amount of “College News” sent out to parents.

If you would like to be involved in delivering events and helping with fund raising initiatives please contact: paul.wiltshire@shc.ac.uk .

If you would like to be involved in the Parents’ Forum or have any questions or queries about its activities please contact: liam.sparvell@shc.ac.uk
